I had my first cry. It was terrible. But in better news, I have a great backpack from REI and I cancelled my netflix. I've packed away my purses, heels, scarves, and winter jackets. I'm cancelling my phone starting friday, picking up my last paycheck, and doing some last loads of laundry. It's beginning. And as my regular at the deli said yesterday, it's going to be a 'mind flush'. I like that.

It's okay to have a good cry. The wonderful part about all this is that your family and friends will be waiting for your return with open arms. Get excited for what is ahead of you.

I know that this is an adventure of a lifetime. We will keep you in our thoughts and look forward to all the wonderful news you have. I know that Lauren, et al will miss you but know that this, like all adventures will be a topic of conversations well into your old ages.(YEARS FROM NOW). ha. love and hugs. Gene....
